Easy lavender care

  • Sun: plant in the sunniest spot you have.
  • Soil: well-drained ground; on heavy clay, dig in grit or plant in a raised bed or pot.
  • Water: keep new plants watered through their first spring and summer until established.
  • Prune: trim every year straight after flowering, but never into old, bare wood.
