Lavender World are supporting Thrive!
It is a well-known, well-researched fact that gardening is good for our mental health. Even just a plant on your desk at work can reduce stress and anxiety.
Here at Lavender World we recognise and revel in the benefits gardening can have on both our physical and mental wellbeing.
In the recent very trying times, our gardens have become safe havens. During the global pandemic, we have seen an influx of people seeking escape and therapy in the form of plants and gardening.
So, we decided to get more involved and are supporting Thrive. A wonderful charity who use gardening to bring about positive changes in the lives of people living with disabilities or ill health, or who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable.
We chose Thrive because of the obvious gardening connection; but also because we truly believe in the magic of gardening!
We are donating 50% of our profits to Thrive to help those in need.
So, any purchase you make through Lavender World today will not just benefit you and your wellbeing, but the wellbeing of others too!
'The lesson I have thoroughly learnt, and wish to pass on to others,
is to know the enduring happiness that the love of a garden gives.
Proven Benefits of Gardening (not exhaustive)

Time away from technology
Decreases risk of dementia
But How do I know I can trust you?
It can feel like these days there is a scam around every corner, we applaud your awareness! We want you to feel safe in the knowledge we do exactly what we say. So:
-We will provide proof of donation. Every time we make a donation you will know about it!
-We have not increased prices to cover this arrangement. You still get the same beautiful plants and the same prices, just 50% of our profits will be going to help those who need it!
-Get in touch with us! We are more than happy to chat about how things work and what we are trying to achieve.
50% is a big claim! We all know every little helps, but the more we can give the better, right? So we are stretching our pockets to give the most we can whilst still running a sustainable business. The idea is we work hard so our customers don’t have to, yet still feel good about doing good!
