How to care for your Lavender Plants
Lavender is one of those magnificent plants that even the least green fingered gardening novice could grow. The reason for this is that lavender is incredibly low maintenance while providing magnificent, scent filled flowers that bring a touch of classic elegance to any garden.
Lavender suits the unpredictable climate that we have in the UK perfectly! There is almost no situation where established Lavender will require watering. The long, thin, thick leaves are known for preserving water, so even in times where there has been very little rainfall, Lavender thrives!
For newly planted Lavender, give it a good drop of water 2-3 times a week for the first couple of months, but be careful not to water log your Lavender. As every garden’s condition can differ, we would suggest that you check your plants carefully and ensure that you care for them accordingly.
