No, ideally it's best that all types of lavender are exposed to full sun for most of the day.

Can Lavender plants be grown in pots?

Lavender is a perfect plant to be grown in a pot!!

You can plant 3 or 5 of our standard size plants into a large pot to create a large hearty shrub.

Or plant one per pot and have small, standalone displays on a patio.

The Stoechas varieties are an excellent choice!

Email info@lavenderworld.co.uk for information on setting up your pots and how many plants you will need for the size of pot you have.

When should I cut back my Lavender Plants?

When should I cut back my Lavender Plants?

Cutback after the plants have flowered at the beginning of October.

Cut just above the woody part of the shrub; this is wear new growth will come from and cutting back harshly should keep the plants from getting woody for a number of years.
