A Twist on a Classic: Nectarine Crumble Tart with Lavender Honey•

The humble crumble is a staple in most homes, however if you’re looking for something that has the best bits of this classic mixing in harmony with some new fresh, delicate ingredients, then this crumble tart is the perfect option.
The sweet and juicy nectarines work perfectly with the fragrant and delicate lavender, all of these ingredients were made for a crumble! So, all you need to do is set aside an hour or so from your day to create these delicious pudding, and you will be so thankful that you did.
This dessert works perfectly with vanilla ice cream, custard or even on its own.
Now onto the fun part, creating this wholesome crumble with a difference.
Nectarine & Lavender Honey Crumble Tart
1 x Pack of Puff pastry
8 to 10 nectarines
2 tbsp lavender honey
50g salted butter
Preheat oven to 180 ° C
Wash, peel and remove the pits from your nectarines, then cut into small pieces.
Put your pieces of fruit in a pan with lavender honey and caramelise.
While stirring your fruit from time to time, prepare your crumble: mix the sugar and flour, add small pieces of butter. Knead all the ingredients, until it resembles crumbs.
Once your nectarines have caramelized, place them on your puff pastry, then sprinkle with your crumble mix.
Bake for 30 to 40 mins.
Serve cold or warm, with some vanilla ice cream or custard (or whatever takes your fancy )
