WHEN TO SOW February/ March or July to September

WHERE TO SOW Early sowings in pots or trays under glass at 21-24°C. Summer sowings in pots or trays in a cold frame for flowering the following year.

WHAT TO DO NEXT When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart. Harden off gradually and plant in flowering site 25cm (10") apart. Protect summer sowings in a cold frame during winter months.

MATURITY June onwards

HANDY TIP Cut back the flowering stems after flowering to encourage new growth and a second display.
